Reiki is a practice and therapy for improving your physical health and state of mind. It can help you to connect with your surroundings and come out of your busy mind, releasing tension and stress which can be at the core of so many chronic illnesses today.
The word Reiki is simply Japanese for mysterious or miraculous energy. We all have it, are made from it and can use it and we do! We put our hands on areas of pain naturally and with training we can focus this energy as a helper to relieve mental and emotional pain.

A typical session

A Session always begins with a drink and chat..
-
filling out a consultation and consent form together to keep track of progress.

an explanation of what to expect ie. hands on or just above the body, sensations of warmth, tingling, coolness, tummy rumbling, little spasms as energy moves through your body, super relaxation, sometimes passing high emotions. ( my practice is neurodiverse aware).

a time to ask any questions.

slipping off shoes and glasses and getting comfy in a chair or on the therapy table.

45 minutes to an hour of therapy with or without light music or nature sounds.

Glass of water, notes and discussion about the session. Grounding and takeaway tools.
